Hiking above the clouds in #Nepal

In November 2022 I hiked up a ridge near Annapurna range, in Nepal, starting at 1700m and crossing a thick layer of clouds, which formed all three days I was there, all the way to 4000m through a trail that was mostly stairs; this trail is called the Mardi Himal Trek.

I was self-sufficient in terms of water and food, hence my backpack is a bit larger than usual, especially for such a short hike
