Texas floods leave over 120 dead, and more than 170 missing

In the wake of deadly flash floods across central Texas, our station's parent company, TEGNA, announced the creation of the TEGNA Texas Flood Relief Fund.

The fund, which is accepting donations now, will raise dollars to support the ongoing and long-term response to the flash floods that began on July 4 in and around Kerr County, Texas. Several non-profit organizations are working around the clock to provide support to first responders, residents, and families impacted by floods.

Flash floods also impacted areas in the northern Hill Country near Austin. The scope of damage to property is not yet known as authorities remain in search, rescue, and recovery mode.

Donations to the TEGNA Texas Flood Relief fund can be made by clicking here. All donations are tax-deductible. Funds raised will be granted to eligible local non-profit organizations providing direct support in areas impacted by the floods.
