Old Adze Restoration
Well, I ended up restoring that old Warren Teed adze and it has turned out looking really nice. I found this old rusty Warren Teed adze at a second hand store and bought it with the intention of using it to clear ground and build trails. I originally thought it was a grubbing hoe. After bringing it home and doing a little research I found that this is actually an old wood working tool meant for planing wood beams and the like. While restoring it I found that the blade was in decent condition and sharpened very well to a fine cutting edge. I don't have the proper motion down yet but it makes a fine wood cutting tool. In the end I wasn't able to bring myself to use it for ground work. I guess I'm now on the look out for another grub hoe unless I change my mind in the future.
I hope you are all well!
