This Homestead's First Garden: Spring Garden Tour

So we have the garden started and it is pretty big! We have planted our root crops and a lot of our starts, we even have another potato tower. We are excited to start gardening in the Pacific Northwest, it is already different than our garden in Idaho.

We are also seeing a big difference between our traditional tilled garden and our no till "stump" garden. So far the no till garden takes much less water than the tilled garden. We will have to see how it goes.

Many of you have shared information about planting garden plants with the orchard trees. I have planted some veggies around the bases of the trees to see how that all goes. Thanks for sharing great ideas.
