What is a workbench super-flexible flat-bar?

In this video I am gonna showcase you my approach to feather boards. I am calling it the BENCH SUPER FLEX FLATBAR.

The whole concept is extremely simple and is based on a flatbar made out of for example plastic which is mounted on blocks. These blocks are clamped or screwed down on a worbench. The flatbar in between forms a bow which can be used to apply constant preasure against a workpiece keeping it flat against the fence or the table surface.

The idea for this simple jig came into my mind during my very first project with the tinywoodworkshop. I made a hammock stand without any screwes and bolts. At a certain point I needed a very flexible way to push workpieces of various dimensions agains the fence. So I came up with the bench super flex flatbar.

And this time I did not wand to only showcase you my feather board alternative by making some random works. So I am going to make a nice little coordination skills training-object which ist just the perfect project for this demontration.

The skill toy consists of three pieces. A long bar in the middle an two head pieces attached to the ends. In this video I am going to make the long bar in the middle which has some special characteristics.
