The audio recorder version of the Commodore PET integrated cassette drive

A comparison between the tape drive from the Commodore PET 2001 and one of the commercial audio recorder equivalents.
It seems this cassette recorder was an OEM device made for and sold by many different brands. Many have a model number or part number of CT-1020. Some say made in Taiwan and some say made in Japan, but they are externally identical apart from the colors and branding.
