I've spent quite a bit of time in both Canada and the UAE (Dubai) and the differences in lifestyle and the feel are drastic.
Today I'm talking about how these 2 countries compare, and which one would be a better choice for you.

On paper Canada seems like a perfect country! It's a democracy with a big safety net where the government will take care of you no matter what situation you find yourself in. In UAE if you lose your job you will be sent back to your home country, and that's it.

But how is it really in reality? Would you be better off moving to Canada or Dubai? Where will you have more opportunities? Where will you make (and keep) more money? What about safety net? Insurance and healtcare?

Today I'm comparing two very different but popular places, that both appeal to immigrants from all over the globe.
