Upgrading a Mid-2009 MacBook CPU
In this video, I go over the process of upgrading a Mid-2009 Apple MacBook (MacBook5,2) to a 2.53 GHz CPU (Core 2 Duo T9400). Originally, I intended to install a 2.8 GHz Core 2 Duo T9600, however that chip ended up "pop-corning" which ruined it. On my second attempt using the T9400, it worked perfectly! This essentially makes this machine the fastest MacBook5,2 in existence, as normally they were only offered in 2.0 and 2.13 GHz configurations.
