How to Flash an Sil3112 SATA PCI Card for Mac

In this video, I go over the process of flashing a Silicon Image Sil3112-based SATA PCI controller card for use in a PowerPC-based Macintosh. I also go over the solution I found to an odd anomaly with this particular card, where the Mac ROM would not initialize properly.

This ROM can only be used with PMC PM39LV040 or Macronix MX29LV040 EEPROMs.

This ROM will work with any EEPROM, as long as it's 512K in size.
