Matcha Mushipan have a beautiful green color and lots of candied beans are mixed in. The meringue gives them a fluffy and moist texture. The color and the aroma of the matcha are amazing!

How to Make Matcha Mushipan

100g Cake Flour (3.5 oz)
2 tsp Matcha, green tea powder
1 tsp Baking Powder
A pinch of Salt

60g Sugar (2.1 oz)

1 Egg
80ml Milk or substitute: soy milk or water (2.7 fl oz)
60g Amanatto, a type of candied beans (soft type) (2.1 oz)

Amanatto for topping (soft type)

6 Ramekins, 5cm/2” diameter
