THE MUSEUM OF THE IMPERIAL PALACE OF MANCHUKUO

It was exciting to discover and observe the testimonies
and historical works preserved at
the Museum of the Imperial Palace of the Manchu State.
I was a child when for the first time I saw Bernardo Bertolucci's film, L’ultimo imperatore (1987), dedicated to the story of Pu Yi (1906-1967).
The palace reveals various testimonies, from the arts applied to the sumptuous decorations of the imperial honors, from the letters written during his prison term, to the rich iconographic and documentary apparatus.
