Living and working in London as a Chinese immigrant: An interview with my dad about what life was like when he moved to England in 1991 from working in Chinatown on the third day of living in the city to opening his first takeaway in the South Coast of England.

This video was inspired by BBC's A Very British History: The British Chinese - a documentary I had the opportunity of being a presenter for. In the episode, I interviewed my dad and wanted to share an extended part of it with you guys. Not only does it help me practice my Cantonese but I love being able to treasure these stories and memories via video to watch back throughout the years!

A big thank you to my dad for being our Chinese teacher for this Cantonese vlog! Many parents, like mine, have sacrificed a lot and worked SO hard in order to put a roof over our heads, food in our tummies and for us to have an education and greater quality of life. This video is one way of giving thanks to them by celebrating these stories and hardships. Will never take this for granted.
