I was born and raised in Canada, where I grew up as a Chinese-Canadian. A mix of two cultures—just like Hong Kong. A city influenced by the east and the west. Throughout my entire life, I dreamt of traveling to Hong Kong. Asian/Hong Kong/Cantonese culture was a big part of my childhood. After 21 years of being in Canada, I left North America for the very first time to visit the motherland for one week.
