🏡 A Cozy Surrey Morning
We started the day in our adorable Surrey Airbnb cottage, where mornings are made for slowing down. Our wonderful host surprised us with fresh warm bread and homemade jams, which paired perfectly with steaming cups of coffee. Before heading out, we locked up with the cutest little skeleton key—a small but charming reminder of the history that surrounds you in every corner of England.

🐕 Our First Overseas Housesit & Meeting Scout
This day was even more special because it marked the start of our very first overseas housesit. Housesitting has been an incredible way for us to travel affordably, while also bonding with local pets and homeowners. Our newest furry friend, Scout, was ready to show us around. Tail wagging and full of energy, Scout joined us for a walk that quickly became one of the highlights of our time in Guildford.

🌿 Scenic River Walk in Guildford
With Scout leading the way, we set out on a beautiful riverside walk in Guildford. The scenery was simply breathtaking—lush greenery, peaceful waters, and the kind of quiet beauty that feels like a hidden escape. The combination of charming English countryside and riverside views made this walk unforgettable, and we were so glad to share it with our four-legged companion.

Of course, no S&E Adventures vlog would be complete without a little drone footage! We launched our drone to capture the sweeping landscapes, but for a moment we had a scare when it seemed like the drone might not make it back. Thankfully, all ended well, and the footage gave us an incredible bird’s-eye perspective of the Surrey countryside.

🍺 The Stoke Pub & A Game of Darts
After our riverside walk, it was time for some classic British pub culture. We headed to The Stoke, a welcoming and stylish pub in Guildford. This place had the perfect vibe—warm, inviting, and full of locals enjoying their afternoon. While Scout curled up for a well-earned rest, we decided to try something new: playing darts for the first time in England! 🎯

The Stoke had everything we love about pubs—delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and plenty of character. Sharing a few laughs over a game of darts felt like the perfect way to wrap up our day.
