The APRIM2026 (16th Asia-Pacific Regional IAU Meeting) is being held from May 4 to May 8, 2026, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This is the first time this flagship event of the International Astronomical Union (IAU), held only once every three years, will be held in Hong Kong.

Hosted by the Laboratory for Space Research (LSR), Faculty of Science, The University of Hong Kong. The summit's core theme is "Science, Collaboration, and Friendship—Joining Hands Across the Asia-Pacific Region under the IAU." As one of the most prestigious events in global astronomy, it brings together global academic leaders and industry elites to jointly explore the infinite possibilities under the wave of the new global space economy.

Beyond cutting-edge astrophysics and deep space exploration, the summit also brings science and culture together with the "Cosmic Symphony" world premiere classical concert and large-scale art installations.
