When Jon Bochan asked me to back him up on dobro at his showcase at the Monarch in Louisville, Kentucky, I was thrilled. I got to play with the likes of Eddie Hysinger on harp and Mike Williams on bass, both formerly of the Tim Krekel band. And I got to play a solo on one of his fine songs, "Mountain Chicory."
