3 Ways to SCRATCH Your WATCH!! Rolex, AP, and Patek Worst Enemy.
Here are 3 simple tips I use daily to avoid those dreadful moments that cause damage to your favorite watch.

All of us have had that moment where we scratch our beloved watch. And it just kills us inside. Some of us are more OCD than others about it but let’s face it, doesn’t matter if its a luxury watch (Rolex, Audemars etc.) or not we want to preserve it. These are 3 lessons that I have learned over the years that I want to show you that can help avoid these senseless scratches or dents to your watch.
The first is your belt. The belt is that that one item that always seems to find its way to scratch your watch. Most of time it’s when you are in a hurry or rush. I always avoid this by putting my watch last. After I have gotten dressed and of course, Put my belt on.
The second thing is use caution with doors and door ways. Something about those door frames or door handles that always seem to find its way to make contact with your luxury watch. I use a simple technique to avoid that and it’s to always keep your watch hand close to your body while your other hand handles the door. Easy thing that saves your Rolex, AP, Patek from damage. Especially the gas station doors! Those seem to be the worst of all.
The third is going to be the seat belt of your car. Something about that seat belt buckle that makes it a silent killer. Best way is to always remain full control of the buckle at all times while putting on and removing the seat belt. I scratched my Audemars Piguet royal oak bezel with this exact situation. And it causes damage. God forbid you were to hit a Patek Philippe Nautilus or a Rolex DayDate president or Rolex DateJust fluted bezel. It would be unforgiving.
Pretty much there are endless ways that you watch can get scratched or damaged. These are easy tips that I have mastered throughout the years and have made them my daily habits. I want to share them with you and hope that they can help you a bit.
Watches are meant to be worn and we have to wear them. Doesn’t matter the price that they may be.
Thank You for watching!
