Dan's Story- Obtaining Residency & Italian Citizenship in Sambuca di Sicilia

We are excited to finally start sharing some stories of clients we helped establish residency in their ancestor's towns in Sicily and apply for Italian citizenship.

Dan, a professor, writing coach and author, returned to his grandparents hometown of Sambuca di Sicilia, a village awarded the most beautiful in Italy in 2016. He lived in a restored apartment in the town center that we found for him while the €1 house program was being launched!

While waiting on his application, we helped integrate Dan into the town and he volunteered teaching the town's children English through Shakespeare. Dan also enjoyed the many festivals in the town and the great food, wine and art Sambuca is known for.

It was a pleasure working with Dan, who has become a friend as we spent much time preparing him before he arrived and in Sicily.
