Heavy Rain Led to Flooding in Bangkok Thailand - Sep 2020

A heavy downpour, which did not stop for several hours, caused flooding in the capital of Thailand. Several districts of the city, located in the lowlands, as well as near the Chaopraya River, were under water. The streets of the city have turned into rivers, and traffic on many highways is difficult.
It is worth noting that floods in Bangkok during the rainy season are common. One of the largest floods occurred in Bangkok in 2011. Then half of the city went under water.
There have never been such large floods in 2020. But the monsoon season is not over yet and the weather forecasts for the end of the month are not very favorable.
Note that this year Southeast Asia has been shaken by a series of severe floods in various countries. Countries such as India, China, Korea, Vietnam and Laos were subject to flooding.
We can only hope that everything will end well and there will be no more severe natural disasters.
