THE BEST HOMEMADE NEAPOLITAN PIZZA without a pizza oven! | The Positano Diaries EP 82

A lot of you have asked (in a premiere chat) for a pizza video so here it is!
This is the best pizza recipe I have tried so far. It gives you a crunchy based Neapolitan style pizza that is very similar to the ones you get from a proper pizza oven. All you need is a large frying pan (no oil frying involved) and a oven with an overhead grill.

It really works and was really good!

INGREDIENTI/INGREDIENTS for 12 pizzas (we halved it and made 6)
Farina “00”/Flour “00”_____1600g / 56 oz
Acqua/ Water_____1l /34 oz
Sale/ Salt_____50 g / 1,7 oz
Lievito/ Yeast_____2 g / 0,07 oz
Zucchero/ Sugar_____20 g /0,70 oz
Olio Evo/ Evo Oil_____50 g /1,7 oz

Add the salt and sugar to the water and mix. Add most of the flour and mix. Crumble the yeast into the flour. Add the oil and start kneading in the bowl. When the ingredients are all mixed together you can transfer the dough to a floured table top.
Knead the dough for about 15-20 minutes until the table top is clean. Keep sprinkling flour if it gets sticky.
Cover with wet cloth and let rest for 40 minutes.
Divide dough into balls.
Leave to rise for 6-8 hours (we left ours for longer and it was fine) We placed them on a (Floured) oven tray and left them in the oven with just the light on for a tiny bit of warmth.

Get your toppings ready.
