EVolve NY 2020 Bolt EV Road Trip: Around the Adirondacks

Take a trip to and through the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York, as we test the growing EVolve NY state-level charging network to see if it can open up the area to electric vehicle day trips.

Over a 12-hour drive in our 2020 Chevy Bolt EV, we take the loop from Syracuse up to Watertown and Malone, then swing back down via scenic byway 30 to check out Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Will the network be fast and reliable enough to complete our trip in a day? Are the locations good? How much will it cost? Why is it snowing in the middle of April??
