Zoji La Landscape Journey

The road from Srinagar, in Kashmir, to Kargil, Leh and Shey, in Ladakh, runs over the 3,528 metres (11,575 ft) Zoji La pass. Work on a tunnel is due to begin in August 2012. If it happens, this video will be a nostalgic record of the old road. Unquestionably slow and dangerous, the new road and tunnel will be welcomed by drivers and passengers.
