Symmetrical Paper Fish | Paper Craft Art Activities | Zart Art

In this lesson students will explore paper craft and symmetry to create a fish shaped artwork. Students will begin by decorating a piece of paper with colour or patterns. Students will then fold the decorated paper in
half and draw half a fish shape expanding over the fold with shapes in the middle. These shapes will then be cut out.

Reflection: Students Share and compare their works with other classmates discussing the process and what they are happy with and what they could improve on in their art.

Extension: Students can attempt more complicated shapes or try the same technique with different animal shapes.
