How I trim my hair

***READ ME!***
I've been asked how I get my hair cut; this is it!

*Keep in mind that this is something I've been doing for a long time but I am not a professional. This is not intended to be a tutorial.*
The first time I ever cut my own hair was probably as far as 6-7 years ago. I would only do it in-between haircuts at the salon, but then I got so disappointed at them for always taking off several inches when I asked for a slight trim, that I resorted to always cutting it myself. Then on top of that, I started my natural hair journey so I won't let anyone touch my hair *lol*. Haven't seen the inside of a hair salon in 3 years!

Tools used:
Water spray bottle
Rat tail comb
Clip
Scrunchy
Scissors

I strongly believe in trims to maintain your hair's health. Ends are the oldest part of your hair, and unhealthy/split ends are not only unsightly, they also affect the overall health of your hair. A split end that is ignored works its way up the hair shaft, resulting in more breakage. Of course, taking care of your hair from the get-go and moisturizing your ends will also make a great difference. Less cutting required!
