How to Cut Your Own Hair in Layers | Chicks with Curls

In this video, I show you how I cut my own hair at home using the "Unicorn" method. I think this method is great for some pretty even layers you can do on yourself or someone else easily. You will see why it's nicknamed Unicorn cut when you see my unicorn horn.

If you want to simplify this even further, you can cut a larger amount on the first tie and that by itself will result in layers without needing to take the additional steps. I did it several times in order to result in deeper layers.

Whatever you do, please purchase some sharp hair-cutting scissors! Don't cut your hair with blunt, old, child scissors!
