Making the World's Best Margarita - Is BELL PEPPER the Secret?!

Can you make the World's Best Margarita when you're handed a random ingredient? That's the exact challenge I took on for the 2026 Cointreau Margarita Challenge, and today I'll show you the full process you can use to join too - from ideation to a finished cocktail. The virtual shaker gave me the bell peppers so my recipe will feature a Bell Pepper & Pickle Brine Soda, a distilled Lemongrass & Sichuan Pepper acid, and a Lime Microwave Sponge garnish, but more than recipes, today I want to give you the inspiration and the tips you need to become one of the 12 finalists of this year’s Margarita Challenge.
