Today I’m trying drinks made by Tom Cruise in Cocktail! This influential movie was more than a romantic drama set in bars, it also popularized flair bartending, and showed that if you work hard you can make a name for yourself. So staying in the line of hard work, instead of recreating the exact cocktails from the movie, we’ll turn them into something good enough for modern cocktail bars around the world. We’ll kick things off with a frozen Daiquiri and a clarified Cuba Libre, before ending with a revamp of Brian Flanagan’s iconic Red Eye–without aspiring and an egg of course.
