I head out for a fish in an area and a creek I used to fish as a small child. It's good to see there are still fish there. I catch some nice 50cm flathead right at the start of my fishing trip and even before dawn. Then I catch a few Cod and another nice Flathead and later in the afternoon I catch a very good sized Mangrove Jack or also called Mangrove Snapper. I use Lively Lures and to be specific the 75mm assassin, then I have to a soft plastic which happens to be a Derek live shrimp. Then before I head home I tie on a Skitter Pop and get some cool surface strikes on that top water lure.
