The State of MASCULINITY w/ Ryan Michler

John and Ryan Michler, founder of Order of Man, stroll through SHOT Show 2020 in Las Vegas as they discuss if there is any hope for masculinity in today’s world. They address the NEED for true masculinity in our culture and how we have to put ourselves into difficult situations, whether it is through taking some form of martial arts, going camping in the wilderness, or learning a new trade or skill like repairing your own car. It’s easy for men to land at either end of the pendulum – either acting very passive and avoiding responsibility, or going full macho commando with no empathy for any other living thing – leaving the world wondering what a man really is.

Ryan Michler spent most of his childhood void of a permanent male role model. The few men that were in his life were never great examples of what it means to be a man. This is a major reason why he started Order of Man – to give men the resources and community they need to become better in all facets of life.
