Using a steam cleaner to kill germs
A steam cleaner can be an effective tool to kill germs and viruses. I have the Eureka series 370 steam cleaner which can be used to help strip wall paper, floor mats, upholstery, kitchen sinks and almost anything you can think of.
Some models come with all kinds of attachment to help you blast the steam into the nooks and crannies of any object. The best thing is it can disinfect without using any harmful chemicals and you can use the cleaner over and over again.
Mine is good size model whereas smaller units will, so to speak "Run of steam" quickly.
Since the unit can unit a dangerous blast of steam so use all safety precautions when operating this kind of equipment. Turn off unit and wait for a few minutes before you uncap the filler to refill with water. I use distill water so scale will not accumulate inside the steamer.
