Turn your weak charging solar light into a strong one

Most store bought solar lights have undersized solar panels to make them too weak to illuminate.
I added an old 9v solar panel to the solar light. A TP4056 lithium ion battery charging board is used to stabilize the incoming voltage and charge the single 18650 battery. You can also connect the output of the TP4056 to the built in solar panel. The rest of the electronics of the solar light will still control the operation this solar light.
This 100 LED solar light is around $6 at online vendor Temu. This solar light has motion sensing, always on and dim or bright settings.
