Lions made her cry... SAFARI DAY ONE - Kenya, Masai Mara

We FINALLY arrived in Kenya, the 1st country of our year around the world!

After an exciting flight, we got settled into our tent at the Mara Intrepids Safari Camp in the Masai Mara.

Soon after settling in, we hopped into our Land Rover for our first safari drive!

Y'all, our safari drive was AMAZING!

We were shocked at how many beautiful animals we saw on our first drive. It felt like we were living in The Lion King!

We saw lions, a cheetah, zebras, elephants, hyenas, cape buffaloes, baboons, warthogs and more! The lions were so exciting that Ashley got a little emotional.

And the skies in Kenya? Wow! The sunrise and sunset each day are not to be missed!
