this is a video diary of our week in florida.
it was a splendid week, I cherish this time so much. I am incredibly grateful for the people in my life, and I hope this video brings you some joy or relaxation.

I know, that spec on the lens is quite annoying! It's been there for a year now. bugs me that it ruins the scenic shots. does anyone know how to clean the inside of the lens, somehow? I don't think it's bad enough to replace the camera all together, while the rest of it still works fine.

Tyler's dad meant to take the week off, but some emergency things happened right when we arrived, so he was working so hard. When we were playing cards, you could see he was on his computer working and trying to make time for us, too. He also drove us to the airport at 2am and went straight to work, and he would often get 3 hours or less of sleep. I pray that he takes care : ( and I look forward to spending more time with him. I got to chat with him quite a lot last summer, so although most other mornings he was home, he had to work on his computer next to us. Having him around was still nice company.
Tyler's momma is such a lovely woman, as you can see! she is an example of strength and positivity to me, and reminds me always that one MUST have hope even in the most hopeless times. I love her.
I miss tyler so much, and although I know these next months are going to fly by (because of the deadlines)- I look forward to spending more time with him.
Meanwhile, after I post this, I'm going to do some work for my thesis and then will prepare for my faculty meeting tomorrow morning. I'm leaving for NY right after, because I have an event to attend at night. perfect timing, so I can buy fabric for my project while I'm in town.
