The Vicious Cycle!! Recurrent Infections (Lyme, EBV) and Overgrowths (Candida, SIBO)

In this video Dr. Taylor describes the difference to him between "infections" and "overgrowths" and how they both fuel each other by altering the immune system. Over time, inflammatory stimuli including infections (like Lyme and co-infections, Epstein-Barr Virus, Staph, etc) and overgrowths (candida and other fungus, SIBO, dysbiosis, biofilms) will "polarize" the adaptive immune system towards a certain response called Th2 dominance. This video explains this vicious cycle and some of the mechanisms - when you understand the mechanisms the solutions become obvious!
