Over an hour of relaxing nature sounds that consists mainly of birds singing and water flowing. This video has very little to do with my normal videos but, This video is a response to the Covid-19 /Coronavirus stay safe, stay at home lockdown. I thought making a relaxation soundtrack to help people relax and sleep would be a good idea.

There is something in the brain that needs the sound nature to truly relax unwind itself, so for all the people who are locked down in the city or where they can't hear nature sounds I did this video. This is the recording of the natural sounds around North Wales so people living in various parts of the world might not be able to relate to the sounds, but if you can, I hope you find it relaxing. The sounds include multiple varieties of birds and the sound of a gentle flowing stream.

The science.
Any traumatic events or shocks, even relatively slight ones like the lockdown, load noises, witnessing violence, accidents, even being upset by a social media post, and anything like these events can cause the Freeze, Fight or Flight reaction in the brain. If your brain/body has no way of releasing itself or escaping these feeling it can lead to depression, stress, anxiety and any number of mental conditions. But deep in the subconscious your brain knows from the sounds of nature when there is no threat present and therefore disarms the F.F.F. reaction and then you can calm down and relax. Therefore it is good for everyone to just to sit in the sounds of nature every now and again for your own well being. This will become more important during these lockdown days with everyone talking about Covid-19 and many people being trapped in the city with no way of hearing the sounds of nature.

These relaxing natural sounds are great to nap with, relax or meditate with.

I had collected the nature sounds from tests of Phillips VoiceTracer microphones that I was reviewing and I added a few new recordings to the originals and then put them with some video clips that were filmed where I recorded the nature sounds. I hope you enjoy them
