This is the backing track to go with the guitar lesson on improvising using the major scale, the minor scale and the modes.

The first backing track is based on White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplain (Jefferson Starship) only transposed down by 2 steps to bring it into the key of C major. This is the third part of a series of lessons about improvisation using the modal scales so you can create your own guitar solos.
If you aren't familiar with playing these modes on the guitar you will need to go through the tutorials below before attempting this tutorial.
