Open Weekend

Thus shows some major exhibits showcased at this special open weekend, where the former Pumpjng station showed many of the working Steam Engines, used to pump water to serve London.

Complete with subtle references to the British Engineer who developed the plumbing essential for a Toilet flow..Mr Tom Crapper!

The historic Engines are still in working order, and during this special open weekend, some were seen in full operation. (This despite closure, and Covid19 ramifications!)

A Steam Railway was also open to passengers, as well as a joint open weekend venture with Kempton Steam Museum, with all hands to.the pump(s)!

A Classic 'RouteMaster' bus was also in service for the Weekend, as shown.
