Screenwriter and Bestselling Author Karen Schaler's Three New Christmas Projects for 2023

Three-time Emmy Award-winning screenwriter and bestselling author Karen Schaler is talking about her three new Christmas projects this year. Nicknamed "Christmas Karen" after writing Netflix, Hallmark, and Lifetime Christmas movies and holiday novels in just a few years, this year during the WGA Hollywood writer's strike, Karen couldn't pitch or sell her movies so she turned her beloved Lifetime Christmas movie EVERY DAY IS CHRISTMAS, starring multi-Grammy winner Toni Braxton, into a novel that is now on sale everywhere.

Also, during the strike, wanting to find a way to give back, Karen created a one-of-a-kind luxurious 120-page adult Christmas coloring book, COLOR YOUR CHRISTMAS DREAMS, featuring 55 magical Christmas scenes inspired by her Christmas movies and novels that are paired with uplifting, inspiring holiday quotes.

Also, after writing the hit Christmas Camp Hallmark movie and books, Karen is now creating real-life Christmas Camp experiences for grownups inspired by all her movies and novels.

Using her background as the creator and host of Travel Therapy TV, traveling to more than 68 countries, Karen curates one-of-a-kind, exclusive, immersive Christmas Camp experiences for grownups held at top resorts, hotels, and destinations worldwide. Her last 10-day Christmas Camp at the Luxury Collection Resort The Phoenician in Phoenix, Arizona, sold out more than 400 room nights in just a few minutes!

NBC’s TODAY SHOW even came to Christmas Camp and did two 6-minute exclusive TV segments about how with Karen Schaler's Christmas Camps featuring festive, fun, holiday activities straight from Karen’s stories, you feel like you’re starring in your own Christmas movie!

Karen is also doing pop-up Christmas Camp events around the country where you can come for a few hours to disconnect to reconnect with what truly matters most at Christmas.
