Syria Speaks and the "culture of anxiety"
In a Sky News segment discussing the conviction of Anjem Choudhury, English PEN's Robert Sharp warns of the "culture of anxiety" that has arisen due to the UK Government's approach to extremism and terrorism. Earlier this year a woman was detained by the police and questioned under terror laws after she was reported for reading the the PEN supported book 'Syria Speaks' (Saqi Books).
