RV Heat Pump Powered by GROWATT Solar Inverter + LiFePo4 Batteries - 240V in Split Phase

* This system will be paired with a ~3000W solar system on the roof of my camper, when I have time to install it. Likely I will also have to replace my roof, to beef up the substrate, for solar racking attachments.

In this video, my inverter / battery / distribution panel setup is complete (operational), and my heat pump (a 33 SEER / 14 HSPF - Fujitsu model 9RLS3HY) is running completely off grid, using battery power, at 240V AC.

Test conditions:

Outside Temp: 30°F
Indoor Temp: 35°F

Run time was about 1.5 hours, off partially charged batteries.

Battery bank used, was 2x 24V LiFePo4 batteries, with nominal 5.2kWh capacity.

I use CPS Micron Gauge (https://amzn.to/32yj5TR), but you can use other brands. I actually DON'T like Yellow Jacket vacuum gauge.

I use Robinair 5 CFM Vacuum Pump (https://amzn.to/3d3rhxy), but you can use almost any brand - expensive or cheap. I got a more expensive one, because need to use it for many years.

Don't buy Vacuum Pump with manifold gauges - get Yellow Jacket.
