Heard's BBQ is widely known by their many fans as some of the best barbecue that Alabama has to offer. When Jacky and Sam first dipped their toes into the Alabama BBQ pool, the "you've gotta get to Heard's" messages started, and they haven't stopped. It's true that Roman Heard is doing something special in Maplesville.

In addition to their pulled pork sandwich, Jacky rates Heard's wood-smoked ribs as, "One of the top three in the state."
