Those wonderful cinematic dials of Manufacture DeWitt!

Jérome de Witt, the great-grandson of King Leopold II of Belgium and a direct, fifth-generation descendant of the Emperor Napoleon's brother, King Jérome of Westphalia, is the founder and creative genius of the eponymous watch manufacture DeWitt. The brand is largely self-sufficient, with deep vertical integration, down to a guilloché dial workshop, but also enjoying the financial independence as a family-owned company.

Mr de Witt is not only a distinguished watch connoisseur, an admirer for finer things in life, but most importantly equipped with an intellectual passion for understanding the fundamentals of aesthetic, technological, architectural or musical concepts and then transforming and applying them in new contexts such as watch design.

Unusual ways to display time, spiced with a bit of philosophical irony, are mesmerising results. In this video, we present three members of the Academia family, namely
