Spock Suite | Star Trek Trilogy (Original Soundtrack) by Michael Giacchino

Spock is one of the most iconic Sci-Fi characters, so it fits that his theme in the Kelvin films would sound the most unique tonally. Using the erhu instrument, Spock is given an ethnic and mystical musical identity, with a theme that portrays his compassion, sadness, and isolation as an emotionally conflicted Vulcan. His theme picks up and becomes more intense and visceral during action scenes, but at it's core it represents the solemn demeanor of the character.
