Bissell PowerGlide Durability Test – Cheese Killed the Motor

In this durability test, a Bissell PowerGlide vacuum gets put through another ridiculous Hank’s Garage torture test. First it vacuumed dirt off the ground, which clogged it up pretty quickly. Then it got the billy club treatment, breaking the power nozzle window and snapping the brush roll in half.

After that, things got even worse for this vacuum. I fed it a full can of nacho cheese down the intake, which slowed the motor down into a hilarious cycle of running, stopping, running again, and slowly giving up until it finally died.

This vacuum was already junk and headed for scrap, so it got one final controlled durability test before teardown and recycling.
