Riccar R25 / R27 Simplicity S26 No Power Fix – Thermal Reset Button Location

In this video I show a simple no-power fix on a Tacony-built vacuum, including models like the Riccar R25, Riccar R27, and similar Simplicity models that use the same style of thermal reset button on the bottom of the machine.

I have seen a lot of these vacuums thrown to the curb even though they still work, simply because people do not realize there is a reset button underneath. If the vacuum overheats, clogs, or shuts off, it may not turn back on until the thermal reset is pressed.

Before throwing one of these away, check the hose, filters, brush roll, clogs, and then locate the reset button on the bottom of the vacuum. This quick check can save an otherwise good machine.
