#5minphysics 14. From the boring to the sublime: The principle of least time
One of the most remarkable things I ever learned when I was in high school 360 years ago a French mathematician made a remarkable discovery about light that allows us a completely different way to think about how it travels. That allows me today to go from one of the most boring bits of physics (to me) to one of the most interesting, today, and tomorrow. And btw, this would have been only 7-8 minutes if I hadn't read the quotes from Feynman. :)
