Five years ago, on October 30th 2015, Cristina was engulfed by flames in the Colectiv club fire. In the blink of an eye, her life - the one she had built throughout 20 years of hard work and passion for architecture - collapsed.

In this talk, Cristina takes us on her journey of overcoming trauma and loss, discovering her new identity and unearthing the secret connections between our body, emotions and our thoughts. Cristina is an architect and an energy-efficient housing designer. She graduated from the prestigious Ion Mincu Architecture University in Bucharest, obtained international scholarships that allowed her to study in Great Britain and Italy, and worked as an intern in Austria, for some of Europe's best ranked companies. Her professional portfolio was exquisite, and she was well on her way to conquering the world! The Colectiv Club fire, however, changed her life - and her plans - forever, in just a few minutes. Currently, Cristina is focusing on rebuilding her inner world. She'll take us on a journey through the trials of trauma, the victories of healing, and their impact on her beloved profession, all while sharing bold new perspectives on life, and work, after tragedy.
