2012 True Professionals of Arboriculture Awards - Tim Kastning

The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) is dedicated to raising awareness among the general public about the importance of trees, necessity for proper tree care and the role today's arborists play in tree care service and education. The "True Professionals of Arboriculture" recognition program allows ISA to spotlight a number of deserving arborists, their best practices and the successes they have had in relating to their communities, clients, colleagues and employees. Kastning says all of the wood-waste generated by his company, Grace Tree Service, is used in some fashion. In addition, his business contributes to biomass as a natural resource by sending 500 tons of excess wood each year to a plant that produces electricity.
