Rio Ottolino Choreography - 2017 Team - "Over the Love"

This lyrical group dance entitled, "Over the Love" won 1st Place here at Starpower Dance Competition. Platinum and "Best Costume" was awarded to our team at Inferno Dance Competition. The team took the Platinum award along with the Judge's Choice Award for "Dancing From the Heart" at Rainbow Dance Competition. They also took Platinum at Showstoppers this year! We've seen this team's passion, as they have, indeed, danced from their hearts every time they hit the stage all season long. Although this team consisted of all beginner/intermediate dancers (with the exception of their coach Rio who danced with them) they were placed in the the advanced division at most of their competitions, because of Rio's level. They scored 285.5 out of 300 in the advanced division here at Starpower! They ran with the big dogs and achieved high scores at almost every single one of the competitions they attended this competition season. Coach Rio couldn't be any more proud of her team. This dance was choreographed in full by 15 year old Rio Ottolino of Goin' Solo Dance Company in Marengo, IL.
