Getting Started Making Wire Wrapped Hooks Clasps by Denise Mathew

This tutorial is part of a new group of tutorials that if mastered will have you making jewelry like a pro in no time at all! All the tutorials are guaranteed to be less that 10 minutes long so you can get through it faster.

For the clasp tutorial I used about 1 foot of 18 gauge wire to make all the clasp parts in the tutorial. The circle of the clasp measures about 10mm and can be increased or decreased according to your needs. You can use a lighter wire for a more delicate design but I wouldn't go below 22 gauge otherwise it may be too flimsy.
